This adapter is one of the reasons I bought the Canon A720 last year.It allows the user to add any 58 mm filter on the end of it.A polarizer comes in very handy when shooting outdoors.This redudces glare and color (you can save time deepens in Photoshop). It also protects the lens.The only downside is that it obstructs the view thru the viewfinder.And you, you use the LCD to determine the effectiveness of the filter (Im usually) to save the battery display digital camera requires a more fitting OFF to allow the use of filters to. All-in-all this add-on is worth the money..
